Winter evening
After the sun goes down is when you get these colours.
Sturdy tripod, mirrorlock, long shutter time, low iso: for sharp night shots.
My foreground-rocks point to the lighthouse :-)
A little star-lag from the slow shutter speed, but the trade-off is a crisp image.

Aurora
We had northern lights right outside our house a few days ago. It's the first time I have seen it. It was pretty amazing! I captured some of it using shutter speeds for about 5-15 seconds, high iso and a big aperature.
